Trigger Point Dry Needling is a technique that has shown to be very effective in patients with muscular dysfunction and myofascial pain. The background and purpose of this presentation is to describe the addition of Trigger Point Dry Needling to standard physical therapy approach following lumbar spine surgery to the myofascial tissues affected both directly and indirectly and from the trauma of the surgery itself. The idea of adding addition use of Trigger Point Dry Needling could help post-surgical patient outcomes.
