There is a lot of crossover between orthopedic cases and pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and it’s important to identify the primary driver of the dysfunction. It’s also important to recognize when your patient may have pelvic floor muscle involvement and refer them to the right therapist Be willing to ask the personal questions about their bowel, bladder, and sexual function and recognize when a patient your treating is not responding typically.
