This course will include laboratory and lecture components covering advanced rehabilitation examination and treatment concepts related to the cervical spine and shoulder region. Examination topics covered will include common muscle, joint, bone, and nerve dysfunctions primarily related to orthopedic practice. Intervention topics and techniques will include a variety of advanced manual therapy, neurodynamic, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular reeducation techniques. Participants will also be introduced to movement impairment diagnosis concepts and how they fit into the traditional medical diagnosis framework.
