During this one-day course participants will be educated on the history and theory behind the use of kinesiotape and evidence to support its use in clinical practice. The course will include education on the physiologic effects of KT along with treatment techniques for the upper quarter, lower quarter, and spine. Participants can expect 25% didactic instruction and 75% hands on practical training on the application of KT to treat impairments. Tapping techniques will address lymphatic drainage, shoulder instability, lumbar paraspinal muscle strain, postural dysfunction, patellofemoral pain, and much more. After the completion of this course participants will be able to confidently utilize specific taping techniques for the upper quarter, lower quarter, and spine to improve patient outcomes.
