This seminar reviews anatomy and pathophysiology of the shoulder, surgical procedures including total shoulder arthroplasty, hemiarthroplasty, and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Surgical protocols and traditional treatment interventions following surgeries are reviewed. Participants are offered guidance for progressing and documenting the treatment plan, skilled interventions to achieve functional goals, and best practice tips for exercise and functional activity.
