To provide education on the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic and vascular systems and recent evidence-based treatment options for chronic edema. The course will enable attendees to recognize signs and symptoms of this chronic condition and to differentiate between venous insufficiency, primary and secondary lymphedema, and lipedema. In addition, attendees will gain insight into cancer survivorship issues as they relate to lymphedema, including lymphedema of the head and neck.
