This six-day course for physical and occupational therapists has been divided into two sessions to enhance learning. This will allow the participant to use the skills taught in the first session prior to returning to advance and perfect their skills in the second session. The course will teach PNF fundamentals with applications to neurological and orthopedic impairments focusing on improving manual skills to achieve desired outcomes. Breakout session will be offered for therapists interested in advanced problem solving with specific patient populations such as stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson’s, and orthopedic conditions. This course is lab-intensive at approximately 75% hands-on lab. Faculty to participant ratio will not exceed 1:10.
