Recent innovations in clinical research and gait correcting knee bracing technology has demonstrated the ability to make significant improvements in chronically poor post stroke walkers with the use of dynamic assist gait correcting orthotic therapy. Clinical research will be reviewed to provide insights into neurorehabilitation and gait relearning strategies using orthotic dynamic assist gait correcting knee and ankle braces. Case studies will be presented using the Rehabilitator Knee brace in combination with a carbon fiber dynamic assist ankle / foot orthotic to significantly improve patients with long standing poor Hemiplegic gait patterns
