This course will cover theoretical and practical foundations for teaching and assessing entry level physical therapy students. Emphasis will be placed on application of learning sciences and techniques designed to facilitate meaningful learning in various settings, with special emphasis placed on the physical therapy skills laboratory setting. Both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities will be used to prepare clinicians for success as academic instructors and to create a community of practice and learning.
