The hand-wrist is not the most commonly injured area in sport, however these injuries significantly limit both performance and training availability. There are a variety of hand-wrist conditions seen in sport including sprains and strains, fractures and/or dislocations, tendon pathologies, and pulley injuries. Injuries can occur both traumatically or insidiously in the same anatomical location and in the same sport. Although these pathologies may differ, the common factor in their management is the understanding of the underlying anatomy and biomechanics of the hand-wrist complex. This Masterclass will provide you with the appropriate knowledge and tools to assess, diagnose, and develop a tailor-made management plan for your patients. The four modules provide a systematic approach to help upskill you in these areas. So, if you’re interested in learning more about the hand-wrist, look no further!
