This seminar is designed to educate the participant in fundamental principles of wheelchair and bed positioning. Participants will receive information to facilitate comprehension of the dynamics related to positioning, restraint use and identification of patients in need of skilled rehab for positioning. Medicare regulations related to patient rights, treatment techniques and documentation to support skilled services will be reviewed. Additionally, this course will provide information to promote effective and efficient clinical service delivery through best practice application.
