Following the worldwide pandemic in early 2020, healthcare professionals were tasked with the objective of finding ways to manage and treat effects caused by a novel coronavirus, COVID-19. While knowledge about the virus continues to evolve, rehabilitation needs have begun to emerge in the acute and post-acute settings. This course will provide insight for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants regarding COVID-19 and its clinical presentation, as well as recommendations to effectively measure and treat functional deficits in patients recovering from COVID-19 across settings.
