This two day course will present an introduction to kinesiology taping techniques, as well as the must-know concepts for skin safety, skin preparation, and tape handling. The course also provides a review of relevant anatomy, neurology and physiology. Techniques learned include edema management, muscle facilitation and inhibition pain management and functional movement. Level 1 will allow you to add a great tool to your practice that gives the patient continued therapeutic benefits in between treatments. Level 2 will develop combinations of technique for thorough clinical application, further develop strategies and clinical reasoning for kinesiology taping, as well as introduce techniques specific to extremities and neurological conditions. Level 3 will introduce and develop advanced concepts, as well as in-class case studies to solidify the course material.
