The intended goal of this 3-hour series of lectures aims to present the latest information for therapists practicing in the Acute Care setting. The intended audience is: PT, OT, PTA, and COTA. Dr. Mapel, Pulmonologist, will present information on COVID as it affects the cardiopulmonary system. Dr. Zarkou, Neurologist, will describe the neurologic implications of "COVID brain". Justin Singleton, PT, will cover the Therapeutic Management of the Adult with Acute Stroke: Setting up the Patient for Success in Rehabilitation.
