This series of five online lectures provides foundational knowledge required for clinical practice in women’s health. Topics covered are female sex and gender (including intersex variations), female reproductive system and pelvic floor, menstrual cycle, overview of pregnancy, and understanding labor and birth. This course provides the required introductory knowledge to be able to progress into either the Women’s Health through the Life Stages (WLS) stream or the Women’s Pelvic Health (WPH) stream in the APA Women’s Health physiotherapy career pathway.
