2-day course on two separate weekends (4 days total, 13 hours of in person education and total of 8 hours of online course materials) that covers the cervical, thoracic and scapular-thoracic regions of the upper quarter. This course focuses on the clinician improving their clinical reasoning process in treating their patients and enhancing their technique selection and applications. This course reflects the Australian dynamic thinking model : Patient assessment, treatment decisions for soft tissue and joints, treatment selection, reassessment, treatment progression, self treatment selection, therapeutic exercise, long term management, patient education and management of the discharge of the episode of care. Integration of existing and emerging evidence in the manual therapy approach is an essential component of the course. Instructor/student ration typically 8/1 or less. The orientation of this course is practical applications with online didactic material provided ahead of the in person class, majority of in person class time is lab based and case study presentations and reviews.
