Options for wheelchair prescription have significantly evolved over the past few decades in order to meet the needs of various patient presentations. Seating and mobility is considered to be a niche area within physical therapy practice that has a life altering effect on patients’ physical and emotional wellness, functional independence, and overall quality of life.
