This course is designed to provide the participant with the background of how to evaluate and treat patients recovering from upper extremity injuries, including shoulder stabilization surgery, rotator cuff repair, and UCL reconstruction. Criterion-based protocols and problem solving will be taught to ensure critical milestones are achieved during the rehabilitation process. Through lecture and demonstration, the participant will be instructed on topics in anatomy, biomechanics and pathology related to the upper extremity. Lastly, case studies and group discussion will be used to facilitate plan of care development for successful return to sport following upper extremity injury
