FAI is gaining a lot of recognition in the literature and physical therapists are doing more post-surgical rehabilitation on patients after hip arthroscopy; however, the complication of the surgery and how outcomes related to post-surgical care are often not fully explored either in the classroom or in the clinical field. This course will bridge the gap between understanding the surgical intervention and the importance of post-operative care, and will teach the attendants how to correctly identify FAI and address it conservatively when able. This course aims to educate PTs and PTAs on recognition of FAI, surgical implications, and both conservative and post-surgical interventions.
