Victims of domestic violence often do not admit they are being abused. Healthcare professionals, such as nurses, social workers, and physical therapists need to be aware of subtle clues and historical indicators suggesting abuse as they work with and screen individuals under their care. This educational activity builds on foundational information for such healthcare professionals and introduces advanced concepts of screening and providing assistance to potential victims of this crime.
