This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to the use of dry needling. Through lecture they will understand the history and evidence behind the use of dry needling. They will be taught basic clinical skills for the use of dry needling. Through lecture and demonstration, the student will be be educated on needle safety and control. They will be educated on anatomy and neuroanatomy to help them understand where and why they are using dry needling. They will be educated on basic dry needling techniques throughout the body and will show competence in these areas by the completion of the course
