The Pelvic Health Conference 2023: Patient-Centered Care, Overcoming Barriers is intended to provide a forum for inter-professional collaboration regarding conditions that affect the pelvic region. Many cultural and social barriers to access of services exist, resulting in sense of isolation and shame, as well as potential unnecessary escalation of severity of disease due to reluctance to seek treatment.We hope to improve outcomes for the patients everywhere by facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach and eliminating stigma for conditions affecting the pelvic region.
