Lumbar pain is the most frequently reported musculoskeletal problem and third most reported symptom of any kind in people over 75 years old. The onset of lumbar pain interferes with everyday life and continues to increase with age. Physical Therapy programs can help manage the deficits created from lumbar pain and increase functional ability in this client population. This seminar will identify the role of Physical Therapy in managing lumbar pain in older adults. In addition, this seminar will prepare clinicians to develop an effective plan of care and interventions for these clients.
