This introductory course provides the framework of key spinal cord injury (SCI) concepts that include, clinical and functional impact of SCI, compensatory and restorative models of care, and tools and strategies for the long-term acute care clinician to use within a long-term acute care setting. The online platform provides evidence-based learning that is centered upon delivering patient-centered SCI care with an emphasis on maximizing functional outcomes and patient safety.
