This program was developed to reduce the complexity in chronic, complex patient cases. The program’s primary purpose is to assist practitioners in the development of strategic treatment approaches, rather than tactical ones aimed at constantly adapting modalities. Rather than providing a new ‘technique’ or method of intervention (such as manipulation, vs dry needling, vs myofascial release) the aim of this course is to provide clinicians with the ability to approach a complex, multi-joint patient case with a clear thought process that enables them to identify the traditional ICD10 diagnosis, as well as the movement and coordination-based diagnoses that have resulted in the damage. This course gives practitioners a framework that will accelerate their ability to approach chronic, complex conditions with the confidence of seasoned veterans who have been practicing for years. Their diagnostic abilities will excel, and their understanding of movement dysfunctions, and the results of those movement dysfunctions will be accelerated by years. It will enable them to select and pinpoint which of the diagnosed impairments to address and in which order to address them so that they can provide the patient with pain relief, therefore achieving patient buy-in, but also beginning to solve the root cause of the patient’s issues to provide long-lasting results. The course also allows clinicians to stop feeling like they are chasing the next pain point, and give them clarity on what a strategy of a successful treatment plan should look like. It will give them clarity on manual interventions, as well as exercise selection, and they will understand how to divide their treatment plan into ‘stages’ and know very clearly whether a patient is on, or off track with their plan of care. This course provides clinicians the ability to predict, with good accuracy, a fair prognosis, the number of treatment sessions needed, and length of time it may take for a patient to achieve their outcomes. This will allow the clinician to set clear expectations for the patient, therefore gaining their confidence and trust in the treatment process and improving adherence to their plan of care. The practitioners will gain the ability to perform a quick-screening, as well as a more thorough and efficient evaluation. Also covered is how to explain the findings to their patients using tools and phrasing that patients can understand. The framework provided in this course will comprehensively address disorders of the spine, pelvis, hips, knee, and foot/ankle. An additional course is being developed for the upper quarter.
