This two-day course is designed for physical therapists who practice dry needling who wish to expand their theoretical knowledge and practical application of needling in the field of sports injuries and performance. The course covers the concepts of homeostasis and its effect on healing and performance and the physiological influence of needling upon soft tissue healing. It also covers a variety of additional advanced needling techniques that can be utilized for the treatment of both acute and chronic sports injuries. Participants should be registered PTs and have already successfully undertaken a recognized dry needling foundation course.
