Bone stress injuries (BSIs) can present with a myriad of symptoms, be difficult to recognize and diagnose, and challenging to optimally rehabilitate and return to sports. This course session will provide attendees with information on BSIs in the spine and lower extremities to heighten clinical awareness of these conditions. Attendees will gain experience with evidence informed evaluation techniques to aide in the differential diagnosis of BSIs. Interventions and rehabilitation programs to optimize return to impact loading, restoration of strength, and prevention of re-injury will be applied to laboratory and case scenarios.
