Credit Description:

Both PT and PTA clinicians are tasked with providing the most impactful interventions to promote healing and recovery for patients. However, determining which intervention is “most impactful” can be confusing and difficult to assess. Therefore, the use of evidence based practice (EBP) can help guide clinicians in their decision making. While the process of EBP can seem daunting from a time and skill perspective, this session will help clinicians in the following ways: 1. Simplfiy and expedite the steps in finding research that answers your clinical questions. 2. Determine if the research article’s results can be trusted. 3. Understand the graphs and tables in the results section. 4. Apply the results of the article to answer your clinical question.
