This course will enable attendees to understand how managing fibrosis in various lymphedema etiologies can enhance patient outcomes. Attendees will take a deeper look into the pathophysiology of how fibrosis develops in the tissue and why early intervention is important. Attendees will learn why a multidisciplinary approach is beneficial and what treatment modalities are recommended for patients, including the use of intermittent pneumatic compression.
