Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis, affecting an estimated 302 million people worldwide, and is a leading cause of disability among older adults. Clients living with OA experience a complex range of physical and psychosocial issues that can be addressed by Physical and Occupational therapy professionals. This webinar provides an overview of how to evaluate and assess OA. Non-pharmacologic interventions to prevent or manage OA, including limited ROM, weakness, pain, fatigue, and psychosocial concerns are explored. Participants will also be instructed in the essential components of documentation to support the skilled services provided to clients living with OA.
