Dry needling level 2 is an intermediate level course that will expand upon the skills developed during DN1. Muscles from all body regions will be covered, with an emphasis on more technical and complex dry needling techniques. Structures included in this course are intermediate to advanced spinal and trunk, facial, upper quarter, and lower quarter muscles. This course will include detailed anatomy review with precautions and contraindications for each technique, additional research reviews, and advancement of the clinical reasoning process for dry needling applications. Registrants must be a licensed physical therapist, osteopath, physician, or acupuncturist in their respective state within the U.S. This course will be delivered over two 9 hour days of in-person content, and 9 hours of online pre-course content.
