Pelvic issues can impact anyone, regardless of age or gender, and, left untreated, these conditions can lead to significant health issues that affect physical, emotional, and social well-being. Many individuals do not seek help because of the taboo and stigmatizing nature of these conditions or simply write them off as a “natural” part of aging, unaware that help is available. Open discussions about pelvic health and the safety and effectiveness of pelvic health rehabilitation can help dismantle the stigma surrounding this topic, leading to early intervention and better long-term health outcomes. By focusing on improved education and awareness, increased accessibility, and enhanced collaboration with other medical professionals, we can provide optimal care and better support individuals throughout different stages of life.
