In this session, participants will be provided with an overview of hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia highlighting differences between each of these, some common behaviors associated with them, and why these lead to false accusations. Evidence-based strategies and interventions will be offered to address and manage false accusations. Learners will be offered approaches to maintain perspective, avoid arguments, communicate calmly and simply, and more. Case examples including opportunities for facilitated discussion and brainstorming will be utilized to encourage peer-to-peer sharing and engagement.
