This in-person, hands-on, interactive skills lab will focus on refining techniques for dry needling. This is not an introductory course and is not for beginners - this course is for the licensed health care professional who has been certified for dry needling and has already undergone an introductory course with successful completion. The lab will focus on administering dry needling to the body: head/neck, limbs, spine, shoulder girdle, low back, and the lower body (hip to feet). Equipment and lunch will be provided. Upon completion of the skills lab the participant will receive a course certificate. The goal of this course is to re-enforce confidence, anatomy knowledge, and execution of dry needling technique among already certified health care professionals who administer dry needling for treatment, to educe the risk of hazard side effects such as pneumothorax, improve dry needling outcomes for health care professionals as they treat their patients/clients.
