Clinical Evaluation and Management of Visual and Perceptual Impairments Following Acquired Brain Injury: A 'Hands-On' Approach (Compensations, Modifications, and Remediations)" is a course designed for OTs, SLPs, and PTs. It addresses visual and perceptual deficits, which are prevalent barriers in the neurological population. This course will equip therapists with the knowledge and tools to accurately assess and treat these impairments, ultimately maximizing patients' independence at home, in the community, at work, and behind the wheel. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of visual system anatomy and function, the functional impact of visual impairments, and various clinical treatment approaches.
