This is a live, evidence-informed educational webinar designed for physical therapists who work with athletes recovering from ACL reconstruction. The course focuses exclusively on the immediate post-operative period (post-op weeks 0 through 6), a critical phase that shapes long-term outcomes related to graft protection, swelling management, quadriceps function, gait normalization, and tolerance to early loading. This course provides a clear, criteria-based framework for clinical decision making in the earliest stages of ACLR rehab. Participants will learn how to structure early sessions, how to progress range of motion and weight bearing safely, and how to select and dose early strengthening exercises without provoking irritation or setbacks. The content integrates current research, clinician experience, and athlete-centered communication strategies to support effective, evidence-based practice. The webinar includes lecture, practical examples, early-stage case progressions, and discussion of interdisciplinary communication with surgeons, sport performance staff, coaches, and athletes. By the end of the course, participants will leave with practical tools and an organized process for guiding athletes through the first six weeks after surgery with confidence.
