This continuing education course equips physical therapists to make defensible, evidence-based imaging decisions in orthopedic and musculoskeletal practice. Participants will learn when imaging is indicated, which modality is most appropriate, how to screen for red flags, and how to document and communicate imaging recommendations to patients and other providers. Content emphasizes clinical decision rules, appropriateness criteria, radiation and overuse considerations, and state-specific scope-of-practice considerations.
