Research has shown that only 55% of individuals return to competitive sport following ACL surgery and 1 in 4 athletes younger than 25 that do return to high-risk sport will have a second ACL injury. The purpose of the course is to bridge the ‘gap’ between the acute phase of ACL rehab and end stage return to sport utilizing evidence-based screening and testing. Participants will perform 4 hours of pre-course work and 4 hours in-person to improve their assessment and application of strength training principles and return to sport testing while debunking myths and common mistakes of ACL rehab.
