This course is designed to educate the participant in fundamental principles of wheelchair positioning. Participants will receive information to facilitate comprehension of the dynamics related to positioning, including common deviations and possible remedies. The most common types of positioning devices and equipment are reviewed. Additionally, this course will provide information to promote effective and efficient clinical service delivery through best practice application.
