Moments and Melodies: Understanding Dementia Together is a clinically focused training designed to help physical therapists deepen their understanding of how neurodegenerative changes influence mobility, behavior, learning, and functional performance. This course bridges foundational neuroanatomy with real‑world dementia care, giving PTs practical tools to interpret behaviors as communication, adapt interventions across stages of dementia, and support safer, more meaningful participation in daily activities. This training equips physical therapists with a deeper clinical understanding of the person behind the diagnosis and empowers them to deliver compassionate, neurologically informed care that honors dignity, safety, and connection.
