This puts us on the front lines, uniquely positioned to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. This session is about equipping you with the framework to act as a crucial first responder. Participants will gain a practical, evidence-informed framework for recognizing and responding to common mental health concerns encountered in rehabilitation settings, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and acute crises such as suicidal ideation or panic attacks. The program emphasizes the critical intersection between mental health and rehabilitation outcomes, highlighting how psychological distress can significantly influence motivation, adherence to treatment, functional recovery, and overall quality of life.
