Myofascial Unwinding (Prerequisite: Myofascial Release I) Myofascial Unwinding is a highly effective movement therapy that is consistent in improving the quality and quantity of motion and relieving acute or chronic pain in orthopedic and neurologic dysfunction. This hands-on experiential seminar provides participants with a heightened awareness as to how bracing or holding patterns exist within the body and at times impede rehabilitation efforts for proper recovery. Therapists will learn to facilitate a patient's inherent body motion to discover the exact position that will produce myofascial release and hence, reduce pain, spasm and/or spasticity for improved range of motion and functional mobility.
