Specifically, the World Physiotherapy South America Region Conference will:
• be the leading international forum for exchange of physiotherapy research and discussion of professional issues supporting the advancement of the profession in the interests of all World Physiotherapy South AMerica region member organisations
• reflect the diversity of a unified international profession
• attract international interest and participation facilitating involvement for as many people as possible in the region 
• provide a sense of community and connectedness for the global physiotherapy profession
• contribute to the ongoing development of World Physiotherapy South America Region
• provide a platform for industry to showcase their products/activities, sponsor and interact with the profession
